Emily started dancing at the age of 5 years when she joined First Stage Dance and Theatre Academy. During her time with us Emily has won numerous medals and awards at competitions across all disciplines and has been chosen as a Bursary Finalist on many occasions.

Emily has performed with The English Youth Ballet in Swan Lake, Paul Holman Associates Pantomime Peter Pan and twice in Bill Kenwright LTD's tour of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. She successfully auditioned for Tap Attack, Ballet Theatre UK, The Jazz associates and MIDAS (Midlands Independent Dance Associate Scheme) during her time at First Stage.

Emily has taken her ISTD Advanced 2 Tap and Modern exams, as well as completing her gold medal in ISTD Jazz and LAMDA Musical Theatre where she gained Distinctions and she is Advanced 1 level in ISTD Ballet. She also has Grade 6 Acting (LAMDA), Grade 8 Singing with ABRSM with Distinctions and Grade 7 Piano. Emily is an Associate of the Royal Schools of Music having gained an ABRSM level 4 diploma in music performance for singing with Distinction.
Emily is currently studying for a BA(Hons) Education at the University of Nottingham whilst beginning her ISTD teaching qualifications at First Stage.
